Man I love Miami!!! We competed at the Hurricane Invite in Miami this past weekend and I have decided that I will live in Miami no matter what it takes. The weather was great every day except for are first day of practice. A down pour hit us right in the middle of our practice and it felt great, Anything beats snow and the cold wind that were used to. It was Spring Break weekend for a lot of schools so South Beach was jumping off all week. As far as the meet goes it was a solid weekend. Are 4x1 team opened up at 40.76. During are 1st exchange, I called "stick"  to my boy Al and he just kept running finally he realized that we were getting toward the end of the zone and just got it off in time. The problem was that so many people were calling stick that he couldn't here me . Without that we might have went 40.3. I won the 400 but the time was what I was looking for. I ran 47.73 and last year I opened up at 47.39. I got out hard for about 30 meters and then I relaxed all the way to 100 meters to go and turned it on. My problem is that I'm still learning how to break the race up and I have to stop thinking about dying at the end and start thinking about getting out harder. Finished up the meet with the 4x4 and we won with 3:15.xx. I actually felt faster in the relay than I did in the open. Are next meet is scheduled to be at Rice University in two weeks. We were supposed to have a home meet but if we did we'd be running in snow boots and jackets instead of spikes and speed suits.
